3 years after Galwan: Ramp-up in LAC infra, troop presence, op logistics - The Indian Express

Three years after the Galwan Valley incident in which 20 Indian troops died, India has ramped up military infrastructure and sent 50,000 extra troops to the border with China. India has also added modern equipment for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), more armoured regiments and repair and recovery elements for armoured vehicles. India has built new roads, bridges, tracks, tunnels and helipads, including 19 infrastructure projects in 2021 and 26 in 2022, by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Ladakh for a target of completing 54 projects this year. Legacy issues like Depsang Plains and Demchok continue to fester.
