AD Ports Group has signed a Heads of Terms agreement with SEMURG INVEST LLP to potentially invest in a grain terminal at Kuryk Port in Kazakhstan. Under the agreement, the two companies would form a joint venture to develop the terminal into a multipurpose facility. The signing highlights AD Ports Group's commitment to expanding its presence in Central Asia and its strategic importance in the Transcaspian International Transport Route. The agreement follows a previous Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Ministry of Industry & Infrastructural Development for strategic cooperation in marine fleet development.
