Air India CEO, Campbell Wilson, has acknowledged the suspension of one of its pilots, whose license was suspended for a year, after he allowed a female friend into the cockpit during a flight. In a letter to employees, Wilson emphasised the need for improvement and stressed the importance of following regulations. The suspension, imposed by the Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), followed a violation of Aircraft Rules and is the second such incident in a short span. Air India reacted swiftly to the complaint, immediately depriving the pilots of their duties and informing the DGCA.
