Dutch customs officials in Rotterdam have seized a record-breaking amount of cocaine at the major European port. More than 8,000 kg of the drug was discovered in a Maersk container of bananas, making it the largest seizure ever in Europe. The cocaine, with an estimated value of €600 million, was transported from Ecuador to Rotterdam via Panama. No arrests have been made in the Netherlands in connection with the case.
