French contract logistics provider FM Logistic has opened its first Control Tower facility in Pune, India, as part of the firm's effort to enhance its 4PL and LLP services. The Tower offers centralised transportation control tower services giving end-to-end visibility. FM Logistic India's new managing director, Ajit Jangle, said the opening "provides consolidation optimisation and efficiency – all the prerequisites for a robust supply chain". FM Logistic India manages more than 100 locations and over 7 million sq ft of warehousing space. India's logistics market is expected to grow to $320 billion by 2025.
