GEODIS appoints new Chief Strategy Officer - India Shipping News

Global transportation and logistics company, GEODIS, has appointed Xavier Avrard as its chief strategy officer. Avrard, who joined the company in 2014 as Group Controller, has held various positions within GEODIS, including Managing Director and senior vice president. Starting in January 2023, he will be responsible for the strategic development of the Europe area, including the integration of recently purchased firm, trans-o-flex. Avrard has a Master of Economics and a postgraduate diploma in management control and audit.
